Silver Spoons Local Little Hero Competition
Do you know someone special under the age of 18 who has made a real difference to the life of someone affected by cancer? If you do then we want you to nominate them.
Macmillan has teamed up with Silver Spoon, the official sugar sponsor of the World's Biggest Coffee Morning, to find our Local Little Hero 2012. Master pâtissier Eric Lanlard, star of Channel 4's Baking Mad with Eric Lanlard, will be baking the winner a scrumptious cake. 10 regional runners up will also bag themselves a Silver Spoon baking hamper, packed full of exciting treats.
Your Local Little Hero could be anyone; a kind, brave or helpful young person that has done something special for people affected by cancer. We want to reward their extraordinary work, be it at home, at school or in the local neighbourhood.
Eric said: 'I look forward to judging the Silver Spoon Local Little Hero competition and baking the winning entry. Baking and eating cake is one of the nation's favourite pasttimes and what a great way to help raise much needed funds to support the fantastic work of Macmillan Cancer Support.'
