Hang the bunting|

Make your own distinctive bunting to decorate your event. You can use anything from fabric and feathers to leotards and lace.

  • You will need: brightly coloured fabric or card, scissors, sewing machine and thread, a length of ribbon or binding web, a pencil and an iron and ironing board.
  • Download and print off our Macmillan bunting cardboard template.
  • Using the template to cut out your bunting triangles from the fabric.
  • Put the good faces together and sew up the sides, leave the top part open.
  • Cut out the excess fabric at the pointy tip. Turn the flags so the good side is out. Use a pencil to push out the pointy tip.
  • Iron your bunting flags flat and lay them out as you would like them.
  • Pin the ribbon or binding web across the top of the flags on either side and then sew along the length to create your finished bunting.
  • Display your bunting with pride!
