We’re pleased to announce that M&S Café are on board once again as our official headline sponsor of World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

M&S CafeWe’ve been working with M&S for the last five years to fund vital Macmillan services. Last year was our most successful year ever, raising a fantastic £1.2million for Macmillan.

This brings the total amount we’ve raised together to £2.8 million, which will go a long way towards helping ensure that no one affected by cancer has to face the fight alone.

This year M&S are helping to make the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning the biggest ever in a whole host of ways. They’re selling a range of new and exclusive Coffee Morning products in Cafés and Foodhalls, including vintage inspired cupcake cases, a limited edition Macmillan Victoria sponge cake and gorgeous limited edition pin badges, designed by fashion designer, Celia Birtwell.

They’ll also be giving Macmillan 5p from the sale of every coffee and cake sold in M&S Cafés throughout September. And to top it off, all M&S Cafés across the country are getting involved and hosting their own coffee mornings – with their help coffee morning really is set to be a supersized success!

But our partnership is built on much more than just coffee and cake, and has seen M&S embed Macmillan into their business, by supporting our Work and Cancer programme, and hundreds of M&S staff pledging to support Macmillan by fundraising and volunteering throughout the year.

And, last year, thanks to the support of its employees and customers, M&S was able to fund a total of 19 vital new Macmillan professional posts in communities around the UK. From nurses to dieticians, psychologists to doctors (and more!) Macmillan professionals are specialist healthcare professionals who are there for people affected by cancer. Right from the moment they’re diagnosed, through their treatment and beyond.

With over two million people living with cancer in the UK, the demand for Macmillan professional’s has never been higher, which is why the continued support of partners like M&S is so very vital.
