Our corporate supporters
Thank you to our generous corporate supporters for helping to make the World's Biggest Coffee Morning such a success.
M&S - Headline sponsor
We’d like to say BIG thank you to our Headline Sponsor M&S Café who will be supporting Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for the fourth year running.
2012 was our most successful year ever together, with the total funds raised since 2010 topping a cool £1.7 million. In 2013 M&S and Macmillan are hoping to reach over the £2million mark to well and truly make this, the 23rd World’s Biggest Coffee Morning the biggest and best ever!
This year sees M&S Cafés and Food halls across the country supporting the event in a whole host of different, fun ways...
• There will be a donation given to Macmillan from all sandwiches and cakes sold in the M&S Cafés throughout September, as well as 50p coming to us for every cup of coffee sold on Coffee Morning day.
• If you pop into the M&S Food Hall you will also see an exclusive Macmillan Victoria Sponge cake on sale throughout September
• Our famous celebrity recipe book, the ‘Little Book of Treats’ - which is choc full of celebrity recipes – will be making a comeback to help raise vital foodie funds for Macmillan.
But our partnership with M&S is built on much more than coffee and cake alone, and this year has also seen M&S embed Macmillan values into their business, by supporting our Work and Cancer programme, and hundreds of M&S staff pledging to support us by fundraising and volunteering throughout the year.
Kenco have been the official Coffee Partner of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for the last four years and in 2012, raised an unbelievable £145,000 for Macmillan.
This year, Kenco are back once more as our Official Coffee Partner, providing hosts with a free Millicano sample in Coffee Morning host packs. They’re also giving 10 lucky winners the chance to win the ultimate Coffee Morning hamper.
The hampers are bursting with everything you need, including a cupcake maker, a coffee mug set, Kenco coffee, an Eco kettle and lots of Macmillan goodies.
Kenco are also stirring up support for Coffee Morning by launching the first ever Coffee Bean Totaliser app on Facebook that will see them donate £1 to Macmillan for every ‘like’ the app receives, towards a target of £11,400. Enough money to fund four Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre managers for a month.
Kenco is also expanding our fantastic partnership by supporting Macmillan beyond the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, with Kenco staff lending their support to Macmillan by taking part in a range of fundraising activities, including the Three Peaks Challenge. To date they have raised over £350,000 to help us improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
Silver Spoon is supporting the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for the fifth year running and we are delighted that they are our official Sugar Sponsor.
Silver Spoon are proud to be the only sugar grown in Britain, and with their great range of baking sugars and a passion for treats, you can be sure to make your coffee morning a success. Find out more about Silver Spoon.
Throughout August Silver Spoon are generously donating 20p from every pack of Silver Spoon Caster Sugar 1kg sold.
Back for its third year is also the Silver Spoon Local Little Hero competition. We have scoured the country for local little heroes, under the age of 18, who have done something truly special. Nominate your little hero here.
Lastly, a big thank you to all the bloggers who entered our competition in April. The lucky winners are featured in our recipe book, The Little Book of Treats, available exclusively at M&S Cafes in September.
